My home is no more
My home is no more What's worse is that I have forgotten how to build it again I have been under people's roof for too long The cold air shivers my tiresome soul My home is no more I don't sense belongingness The unfamiliar scent is sickening my mind I am an alien Never have been in right pace Always have been out of place My home is no more No more twirling around No more sun peeking through the window, Kissing my apple cheeks and Merrily dancing till our legs collapse My home is no more No more for anyone The warmth died out and My soul had fallen into slumber As quiet as the corpse I am an empty vessel Wandered and will wander Till I recall how to build my home again -Kimberly F Fernandes
